MATTHEW KNIERIM GRADUATES FROM TOMS RIVER FIRE ACADEMY
Members of IAFF Local 3874 were proud to join Matthew and his family at the graduation ceremony and recognize the dedication that brought him to this moment. Completing the fire academy is a major accomplishment that requires months of training, long days, late nights, and a strong commitment to the fire service.
Throughout the academy, recruits are challenged to build the knowledge, discipline, teamwork, and practical skills needed to serve their communities safely and professionally. Graduation marks the successful completion of that demanding process and the beginning of the next stage in Matthew’s career.
Behind every firefighter who completes this journey is a family that shares in the commitment. Family members provide encouragement through the time away, changing schedules, and sacrifices that come with academy training. We were especially proud to have Matthew’s family there to celebrate this accomplishment alongside him.
Matthew now moves forward with a strong foundation and the opportunity to continue learning from the experienced firefighters and officers serving beside him. Each shift will bring new lessons and opportunities to grow as he begins putting his academy training into practice.
We are proud to have Probationary Firefighter Knierim serving with Jackson Township Fire District #4 and look forward to watching him develop throughout his career.
Congratulations to Matthew and his family on a job well done. Welcome to the fire service, Firefighter Knierim!
